There is a song by The Villagers called Nothing Arrived. There are a number of versions of it but this is my favourite by far.

Miles Cyrus: Jolene unplugged is by far the best cover of that song.
Plus on lots of people's lists Artic Monkeys: Love Machine. They clearly had loads of fun recording that!! |

Some great suggestions.
Corey Taylor has a YouTube video of a live acoustic show in London a few years ago. It's mega!
Also for a bit of fun look up the Lounge Kittens, cover all sorts from Metallica to bob the builder lol.
I may of dreamt it, but I'm sure I was blown away by Rick Astley doing an acoustic version of Everlong by the Foos as well.
Will pop back later to see what else has been suggested!
