Just how many people in here are genuinely single ?
I have a few ' actual ' mates on here who have single profiles and apart from me and one other the rest are married or have partners
And from experience there are a quite a few ladies who "claime" to be
And I mean single , not " its complicated 🤣

Plenty of people are actually single.
I'm not, I suppose I'm more solo, but I'm not handling multiple couples profiles for the sake of it, and since it's only me behind the profile, single female was the only profile option. But I do mention my partners in my profile 💜 |

Well legally I'm married but been separated now longer than I was married. We now live an ocean apart so I certainly consider myself single.
Divorce now is complicated as we are in different countries and he gets a higher pension from being married. I will never marry again so I don't care if we divorce or not.
I stayed married to him when we were both in the usa to stay on his excellent health care. We remain good friends and used to do Thanksgiving and Christmas together. That's no longer an issue but as I say I don't know how complicated it would be to divorce now we are so far apart. I'm totally open with the people I see regularly but noone has had a problem with this technicality. |

Yep to me thats single ,
I know divorces and stuff can be awkward , my mate on here who i class as single is going through a divorce , its been 2 yrs and hes still no closer |

I'm technically in the claim to be group, on account of telling people i'm single.
I'm probably different, only because my partner knows i'm on here and fully supports it, so there's no cheating or hiding things within the relationship. |

I’m not, I think I’m generally open with my situation to the people that need to know.
I’ve got to ask though, other than plain nosiness what are the motives of the thread, the assumption being that those such as the OPs ‘mates’ (why the inverted commas) are unlikely to come on and state that they are not single.

I can get that  i even understand when people live together after a separation for the practical sence of it in this day an age i dont get the cheaters and or these people who say with permission if there actually isent any permission which is quite common iv found , |

Im not judging them at all , some people have there reasons , whether it a sexless marriage or there partners cannot do the sex thing anymore , and I ask because as this thread has shown a lot of people will say there attached just not have it on there profile

You see I’m still struggling as a lot of people haven’t said that they’re attached but don’t have it on their profile, a minority have.

Not single and not claiming to be. I am shocked at the amount of women that we speak to who are here behind their partners back. And they are usually younger than us too, not sure how or why they came to join the lifestyle but when asked if they have talked to their partner about their problems they normally respond with "I've tried and he just isn't interested in sorting it out" for me that would be the end of that relationship as not being able to communicate effectively with your partner is the number one reason for failure of a relationship. Not sure why so many people are staying in these relationships if they aren't working? 🤷🏼♀️

See, to me there is a difference between married but separated for years and living in different countries Vs married/in a relationship and here behind their partners back.
The former isn't an issue to me, the latter very much is not for me |

I love being single , iv never had what people call a serious relationship so cant comment , but I do like my way of life , im far to spontaneous.and id never expect anyone to put up with me lol bit were all built differently |

I know loads on here don't agree with this and although it doesn’t mention it on my profile i am always upfront with people when in conversation.
Im know there are loads on here the same as me but they probably wont say in a forum lol

Someone always gets hurt. Not necessarily in ways that show or that they even realise but you're moving your time, energy and attention away from your primary relationship. However often times people are cheating because their partner did the same but without cheating |

Just being nosy , I have recently encountered a number of ladies in my case that state there single and then after a few messages come out with 'im actually with someone or married 'which I do respect them for , then got us chatting this morning and its more common than I thought ,
And as someone has said not many people are going to admit to on the forums ( granted some have ) but I have had a fair few DMs that have said they are
Personally I dont care why someone is doing whatever , but iv had 3 experiences of upset husbands partners , which isent nice as in my mind I was seeing a single lady and its not nice for anyone involved |
