Do you have them on fab?

Are they a bit stop/start because of the real world keeping you busy ?

Are you able to ‘flow’ or is it ‘catch up when you can’

Always curious

Yes, but with lots of stopping and starting. Sometimes a gap of weeks between messages.

I have very few conversations on fab. I start a lot and then get bored and forget about them.

The few I do have tend to have long gaps in-between. If you're in my WhatsApp then the gaps narrow down to days.

I find that the flow is glacial for the most part on here. If flowing faster we've probably already exchanged numbers.

I have one Fab friend where our conversations randomly flow, with long breaks and then bursts of energy. Others happen as and when.

In private messages the chat can go on for very long times but I don't take well to the time lapse due to the medium but if something gets to conversation length it's because it was good. There are about three members I often have longer conversations with and two of them over a period of years.

For me it's not the medium for chit chat

We don't really have any conversations on here , we have started speaking to a few people but they just don't seem to be able to have a conversation beyond , "how are you" "what you been up to" , which for us is a mood killer.

With some people yes. Others it's more as and when. Both can lead to great meets.

Do you want me to message you daily then? Gosh some people are soooo needy

Conversations with my partner is what keeps me logging on here. We write each other a long catch up message almost every day.

It is lovely logging in and finding a wonderful, long message to read. And then writing a reply about my day. 🥰

For me stop/start conversations constitute as 'flowing conversations' because of the ongoing momentum of chat and dialogue. Of course conversations ebb and flow because we all have busy lives and other distractions.

I can pretty much keep up with them. Sometimes they stall by natural attrition and much later either falter entirely or pick up again.

I have many simmering conversations but these are just ongoing chats with fab friends, forum dwellers or a current partner.

I'm a sporadic chatter. Sometimes there's a connection where messages seem to flow effortlessly but that's not often on here and that initial rush always calms down eventually. It's nice when you have someone you want to log on just to see if they've messaged but I don't get that excited these days.

No, hardly ever.

Find the longer the chat, less likely the meet.

Would rather meet up face to face, socials, parties, clubs, weekends away and swingers holidays.

Can't ever get into online chats, just don't have the time and tend to get bored.

A lot of the stopping and starting is down to me. Sometimes I'm chatty, sometimes I'm not.

Life's busy. I am shite at replying I'm one of those that will get distracted, then remember I hadn't replied days later. By which point it's pointless replying.

Then there are other times where a conversation feels like a lot of effort, regardless of who it's with.

In trouble, apparently…

I’m guilty of being a bit of a chatterer. I like a nice flowing conversation.

I know that other people don’t really gel with that or it’s not what they’re looking for and that’s fine…

.

Yes, have and enjoy them. Flowing for me isn't about the length of time in between replies (up to a point) but more how easily the messages go - no misunderstood attempts at "humour", reciprocated interest... that kind of thing.

I message as and when I want to. I can get bored quite quickly and I'm at a point where I can't be arsed messaging to be polite.

When you connect with the right person, yes conversation does just flow nicely. That's how I can tell if its the real deal or not.

With my expectations, if I feel the person is worth my time then yes, I like to chat.

If its for the intention of getting to know about each other to then meet, chatting online can only take you so far.

There are occasions where I genuinely start chatting to someone, who I already find physically attractive, then chatting a bit find that they have the same qualities as I set for myself and find I would like to invest in discovering more about the person and how they became who they are and where they are, but distance is a cruel mistress.

I think most of mine are very stop start. I struggle a lot with online chats as unless I’m asked a question I find it very difficult to respond. I’ve found 90% of my chats just fizzle out after a while anyway.

Sometimes they flow, sometimes they don't. A combination of real life keeping me busy, sometimes I make the effort and the other person doesn't, sometimes they do and I don't, and sometimes we're both busy. We can't all be at home in our lingerie. Is there lingerie for men? 👀😂

I completely agree with this. The “how are you” thing on a daily basis is so boring! Same as “what you doing” I always respond with “answering messages on here”

Very rare. It's usually chat flowing from me with one or two sentences in reply here and elsewhere. Sometimes in the cam rooms it can flow. Have to speak to the right person.

What a shame, sucks that you've not had the pleasure of talking with those of us who can keep a conversation going with interesting questions and sprinkles of opinions open for discussion. I genuinely like to get to know people so I find this easy, but have had to learn to drop it if the effort isn't mutual.

If you told me you were at home in your lingerie there wouldn't be a need for further conversation. 😂

Pretty much with exception of a current partner.

I couldn’t hope to put it more eloquently than Nero so thanks 👍

I love a flowing conversation. One that makes you stop and think, and stimulates your mind as well as your other parts.

It's not that easy to find that on here.

We have several friends that we speak to daily. Some platonic, some potentially not.

I'll put my hands up and admit that I'll get my knickers in a twist if the conversation has been flowing, and they don't reply and are showing online for some time. Kinda makes you feel like an option rather than a choice. Call me a diva, but I ain't waiting in no queue.

I do, but I've not had one in a while. In part because I've barely been on here and life has been busy.

I'm just having a look around again now and hopefully there will be someone for whom we both take each others fancy and we'll have a good chat, something that stimulates the mind and the loins x

Conversation and intelligence are part of the turn on for me.

I have found very few who engage in any form of conversation, but of those that do, I tend not to use fab as the main means for chat and prefer instant chat apps to maintain conversation with fab friends or potential meets..

We have a couple on here but normally with a view to meeting.

If we all hit it off then over to WhatsApp and in some cases 3-way mfm WhatsApps.

Funniest convos are those that flow at a meet and then all of a sudden you think sh1t let’s get down to business
